REJOICE

We are in a spiritual war…Sure, you’ve heard that before and it might sound cliché but the truth is, the world is in mayhem and the perilous times spoken of in 1 Timothy 3 are upon us. Jesus himself warned of the spiritual anarchy which would overtake the world and cause real love to die out.

In Matthew 24:12-13, he stated “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.”

Though verse 12 points to a sad ending for many, verse 13 tells of salvation for a remnant; the few who will fight the temptation of this world, remain faithful and keep themselves in the love of God (Jude 17-25) not only with their lips but in every aspect of their lives.

Even in times of tribulation, we can have peace and rejoice because Jesus, our savior, provider, protector and king, has already overcome the world (John 16:33).
